Return Policy

 We gladly accept returns for eligible items with proof of purchase. All returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase. Please note that chocolates and perishable food items are non-refundable. A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns. Thank you for your understanding!

         Summer Chocolate Shipping

During May through September, heat sensitive chocolates will not be available to ship. Shipping will available during the cooler months of October through April.

 

Your order usually ships within 1 to 2 business days after you place your order. We don't ship on weekends or holidays, so orders that come in on those days generally ship within three business days. If you order expedited shipping (for instance, 2nd day), please note that your order will be processed within 1 to 2 business days and shipped via the selected method. This means that a "2nd day" shipment may take up to four business days to arrive. If you have a special circumstance, please note that in the comments in your order or email customer service with details.

We don't ship to most international locations, but we do ship to Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, APO and FPO (see below). See the information below regarding shipping outside the continental US.

Our standard method of shipping is UPS Ground Delivery (within the continental US).

  4. 5 business days AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, MS, NC, ND, OH, TN, SC, WI
  5. 6 business days CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, VT, WV

Alaska and Hawaii

If you're having your order sent to an address in Alaska and Hawaii, you have three shipping options: 1. UPS ground (business days). 2. UPS 2nd Day Air 2 (2 business days). 3. UPS Next Day Air Saver (2 business days. These options are on the more expensive spectrum but are the fastest way to get your order since we currently don't offer USPS flat rate. Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and Guam If you're having your order sent to Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands or Guam, we ship using UPS Postal Service Priority Mail. Estimated transit time is 3 to 5 business days. Air shipping is also available. Please contact support@countrymercantile.com if you have any questions!

Issue Resolution Policy

At Country Mercantile Inc, we aim to ensure a smooth and seamless shopping experience for all our customers. However, there may be rare instances where we require customer approval to proceed with an order due to issues such as unavailable items or other critical matters. To handle such situations efficiently and transparently, we are introducing the following policy:


Policy Details:

  1. Issue Identification:

    • If there is an issue with a customer's order that requires their approval (e.g., unavailable items, incorrect information, or critical decisions), we will promptly reach out to the customer via their provided contact information (email, phone, or messaging).

  2. Resolution Attempt:

    • We will attempt to contact the customer to inform them of the issue and offer possible resolutions, such as:

      • Replacing an unavailable item with an alternative (if applicable).

      • Removing the item from the order with a refund.

      • Proceeding with the best course of action based on the situation.

  3. 5-Day Resolution Window:

    • If we do not receive a response from the customer within 5 calendar days of our first contact attempt:

      • We will take the best course of action we see fit to resolve the issue, which may include:

        • Fulfilling the rest of the order with the available items.

        • Issuing refunds for unavailable or problematic items.

    • After taking action, we will promptly notify the customer.

  4. Customer Notification:

    • After processing the order, we will send an email to the customer confirming:

      • The actions we took to resolve the issue.

      • Any refunds issued or adjustments made to the order.

      • A brief explanation of why this action was necessary.
